Last week I spent almost three hours making (and photographing, of course), this mille-fueille crepe cake! Not gonna lie, it tasted pretty crepe-licious :)

delectable pastries from tartine bakery.
It’s another Tuesday night, and I’m sitting here, in a new place, at a new job, and now looking for a new stage in life. It’s amazing how many transitions have occurred in the past 4 months.
There’s been so many new things. And usually, with new things comes excitement. But we often forget that with the new comes the adjustment, the transition, and all the difficulties that come with that. It’s hard to put yourself in a completely new comfort zone, and while it may be exciting at first, sometimes it doesn’t come as easily as one would hope.
Nevertheless, that transition and the difficulties that come with it are really what makes us. Looking back at all the times I felt like crap, it doesn’t seem so “fml” anymore. It really pushed me to work harder and be better. It’s really as they say— with adversity comes strength and insight. Every time I’m going through it, I forget and complain and whine and feel sad. But in a few months, I look back and well, I’m not quite thankful I felt like crap so often but I can see how it did help… a bit ;).
What’s coming up in the next month? Another home, and another job. Sigh. Let’s see what I say after that transition!
